Gingerbread Spice

We tinkered for longer than we should have coming up with this delightful blend that brings gingery, spicy goodness to holiday gingerbread creatures or a lofty gingerbread cake served with whipped cream.

Of course this freshly ground gingerbread spice contains plenty of organic, fairly traded ground ginger. The ginger teams up with Sri Lankam cinnamon for a sweet, floral aroma, Vietnamese cinnamon for deep warmth, beautiful sweet and spicy mace, earthy cloves, and a tiny black pepper kick.

For an even more layered ginger taste, grate a little fresh into the wet ingredients of whatever you’re cooking or add a little minced candied ginger.
