Earthy, organic cumin seed.
Indian, Pakistani, North African, and Latin American cuisines all use this seed. It's also used as a digestive. This nutty, pungent spice gives most chili spice blends and many curries their backbone. Or, one can mash a teaspoon of the seeds with the butt end of a butter knife and add it to boiling water for a digestive tea.
This particular cumin is very fresh and bright in flavor, so if you've been using ground cumin, you'll want to use less of this as it'll be far stronger.
